STAT3 is a member of the signal transducers and activators of transcription fam ily, which is a protein family that presents in the cytoplasm and can be activated by phosphorylation and transferred into the nuclei to bind DNA, and performs a dual function with respect to signal transduction and transcriptional regulation.
